We recently had the privilege of working with a local business owner in our area who was ready to breathe new life into his home’s exterior. What started as a weather-beaten, worn-out property has now become a clean, polished showpiece.

The Challenge

The home’s existing exterior was in rough shape. Years of exposure to Louisiana’s humid, stormy climate had taken its toll — the original wood siding was cracked, rotted, and discolored. Not only did this affect the home’s curb appeal, but it also left the structure vulnerable to further damage.

Our Solution

We got to work by carefully removing all of the damaged and rotten wood siding. During this process, we discovered areas of compromised plywood sheathing beneath the surface. As with every project, we made it a priority to replace or repair any damaged sheathing to ensure the home’s structural integrity.

Once the prep work was complete, we installed James Hardie® HardiePlank® lap siding — one of the most durable, low-maintenance siding products on the market. This upgrade not only enhanced the home's appearance but also provided long-term protection against the elements.

To finish the transformation, we applied a crisp, clean white exterior paint that brightened the entire space and complemented the surrounding pool area beautifully.
